Creative Labs unveils its Vision
SAN FRANCISCO (Billboard) - Creative Labs is showing no signs of slowing in its pursuit of Apple Computer's iPod market share, with the introduction of the Vision:M video-capable MP3 player.
The 30GB device features a 2.5-inch high-resolution color screen that the company claims is able to display four times the color of the video iPod. And at four hours, its video playback time is double that of Apple's. The Vision:M supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and WMV video formats, among others, as well as TiVoToGo and digital photos. In addition to video, the device is compatible with all WMA-based music stores, including support for all portable music subscription services. Other features include an FM radio tuner, voice recording and Microsoft Outlook organizer compatibility, as well as a 15-hour battery.
