Which Coldplay album are we talking about? X & Y? It came out about 6 months ago, didn't it? They may have released a new version. Either way, its widely available, it must have been cracked immediately. The only real losers are the legit Coldplay fans who paid for it and now may be unable to hear it on their player of choice. So much for high quality.

my question:
how the F*ck does it know a car stereo from a walkman? Sony makes all the parts for all of them anyways [and all the lasers are JVC] oh, and just for spite to this article and their CD inserts about "rules", my $15 a month I pay napster covers this too, to play ON MY PC ![]()

The only problem though is that the CD might screw up the player, or not read at all due to the protection. The quality of the disc may make it unreadable by the lasers in the older systems. |

still, JVC makes all the parts [that matter] for every player ever made.
So it's not like their variable frequency or focal length, and cds can't execute programs in an audio player, so it can't check firmware #s or anything... |

I see your point.
It could just be that they went overboard with the insert. By covering anything and everything that "might" cause a problem they've relieved themselves (or at least they think they have) of any blame if it doesn't work. They've essentially told us so. |
