DAEMON Tools 4.03

DAEMON Tools is an application for multiprotection emulation. It is further development of Generic Safedisc emulator and incorporates all its features. This program allows running backup copies of SafeDisc, Securom, or Laserlock protected games. Also included is a Virtual DVDROM drive enabling you to use your CD images as if they were already burned to CD. It works with all types of CD/DVDROM drives and supports nearly any CD protection.

Latest Changes:

Fixed some small and not so small glitches/bugs
Fixed one blacklist (a SF-Game, that behaved odd when running from virtualdrive)
Fixed RAID-Bugs
Fixed some reboot-problems
Fixed Nero-issues
Additional functionality (for X86-version, X64 already contained it since very first version): Disable "Open file handle" dialog, as it seems it annoyed some users

Hmmm ... I wonder what the Nero issues were. I haven't installed 4.x yet because I heard about a lot of bugs.

Seems like many people are having bugs and issues with DT4
I guess we should all wait for the bugs to get cleared and.... the release of the IDE Jammer!

Daemon Tools 401-64 caused my Sony DRU800A DVDRW to not be available when trying to burn

Uninstalling Daemon Tools and a couple of registry changes and installing a latter version of Nero fixed the problem. I'm still a bit wary of installing this new version.

Cool beans. I believe this will be the first version of the software that doesn't BSOD my system. So far under VMWare, it's going fine
