Pioneer places a premium on high-definition Blu-ray media players, recorders
Las Vegas (NV) - Clearly indicating the market segment that the first high- definition optical equipment is intended for, Pioneer today unveiled its first Blu-ray disc recorders.
The model BDP-HD1 is a family room model capable of playing dual-layer (50 Gb) discs. It supports HDMI high-definition component connections, plus DTS and DTS-HD encoding. Available in May of 2006, the unit will have a suggested retail US price of $1800. _____________ Read More / Source: TG Daily |
