Former Take-Two COO to return to previous job

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. said in a regulatory filing on Friday that its global chief operating officer gave up that post to return to his former position with the video game publisher in Europe.

Lewis was promoted to COO in April 2004 from his position as Take-Two's International Managing Director, according to a company press release issued at the time.

The company behind the controversial "Grand Theft Auto" video games on Thursday reported that its fiscal fourth-quarter profit fell more than expected; that 2006 results would be "significantly" below Wall Street targets and that it needed more time to finalize its results from fiscal year ended October 31, 2005.

Take-Two shares gained 25 cents, or about 1 percent, to close at $18.72 on the Nasdaq.
