WidowPC. Although they've been building for a couple of years, they've caught a lot of press in 2005—especially with the wave of popularity in general for gaming laptops, which they seem to have fully embraced.
In the Internet Explorer page title, it says, "Cutting Edge Gaming Computers with Fanatical Support." In more than one place on the site, they mention that their support is second-to-none and quote a couple of e-zine and print reviews touting their customer service prowess. As you all know by now, how an OEM represents itself through Customer Service and Tech Support is a huge part of our evaluation process. The other part of their slogan implies that they build hot-to-trot gaming machines. On
this page, they have a nifty comparison table between the gaming platforms built by WidowPC, Alienware, and Dell. They put in black-and-white what they claim to offer, and what the others don't.
