More BF2 1.2 Details

A new Battlefield 2 Community Update (thanks Frans) has further details on the upcoming version 1.2 patch for DICE's military shooter, describing how the UAV will now be visible from the field, how all officer ranks will now be available, a flag cap bug that will be fixed, how jumping while tossing hand grenades will be restored, and an additional note on how booster pack maps will work in rotation with the standard maps from the original game.

Ok, here is my question, they say the maps can be put in regular rotation, so what if we don't buy the map pack, will we get kicked every time one comes around?

Sounds stupid to me; but maybe I am reading it wrong.

That appears to be the logical course of action. I think EA should just give these damn Booster packs for free. Would it kill them not to sell maps and vehicles? I used to play RTCW and they gave away maps as well. Not to mention Valve and their CS:S maps.
