The Windows Media Player 9 Series Ratings Migration power toy is an unsupported plug-in for Windows Media Player 9 Series.
Windows Media Player 9 Series maintains ratings information for digital media files in the Media Library database, but not in the files themselves. The Ratings Migration power toy allows you to copy your ratings from Media Library to your music files. You can later restore the ratings to update Media Library. For example, if you move files to a new computer, you can use the plug-in to move the ratings with the files. If you are upgrading Windows Media Player 9 Series from a beta release to the final release, the plug-in can keep your ratings from disappearing.
