Installer or Demo Performance Problems Settings Questions Read Here on the Atari Forums has info and work-arounds for issues that may pop up when playing the new TimeShift demo. This info is within a statement we've received from Atari and Saber about the game and the demo:

Atari Inc. and Saber Interactive would like to thank all those who took the time to download the TimeShift PC demo. Through the community's valuable feedback, we have been made aware of several issues with the demo. We are committed to delivering a top-quality product and can confirm that the issues found in the demo will not be present in the final product. Further, the team is working diligently to remedy the community's concerns. We will provide more information to the community regarding the demo soon.

Again, Atari would like to thank the online community for its feedback; your input is instrumental in helping us deliver a truly next-generation shooter experience.
