The world is getting wider—or at least, our windows into the virtual world are. Widescreen displays are all the rage now, both in the living room and on the PC desktop. But sometimes you want a display that can do a little of both without costing an arm and a leg. Last year, we reviewed the Dell 2405FPW, a 24-inch widescreen display with a native resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. Since then, Dell has dropped the price of the 2405FPW, but it's still north of $800.
