Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware Named Best Anti-Malware Solution
The Panda product for the consumer market, Panda Titanium 2006 Antivirus + Antispyware, has won a comparative review carried out by the prestigious Dutch magazine Webwereld, beating 14 other solutions. The analysis was carried out by Data Test Labs, one of the most recognized security laboratories in the Benelux countries.
"This recognition demonstrates our commitment to protecting our clients against all types of threats," explains Virginia Romero, Director of the Consumer Business Unit. "One of the most interesting aspects of this comparative review is its emphasis on the combination of ease-of-use and powerful anti-malware protection offered by Titanium, something that has always been the basis of the design of our solutions. It is not contradictory to offer the latest technologies in a way that makes them accessible to users." The comparative review highlights the ease of use of its interface and TruPrevent(TM) Technologies, which it claims effectively block unknown threats. The magazine says, "This seems to work very well. After all scans, none of the parasites was left behind on the system." _________ Press Release: PR Newswire

I hope they have worked on the performance of their suite. They donated software to me to use in our computer lab but I ended up reverting to a free anti-virus application because their suite was a major resource hog

Yeah, I've tried several AV apps but I've always gone back to NOD32 because most of them seem really resource-intensive.
