Community-oriented search Web site
PreFound.com was set to announce on Thursday a new business model under which it will share ad revenue with users who contribute to the site. The search site displays results of what other people have found on the Web for search queries, including video, audio and podcasts.
To entice more people and thus increase the amount of results, the company said it will pay 100 percent of the revenue that Google AdSense pays to the site for the contextual ads displayed on the pages. The payments will go to topic experts on whose pages the ads are located. The "feature finders" will be responsible for finding, tagging and sharing organized sets of links and annotations on their expert topic areas.
