Creative Labs X-Fi Beta driver v 2.09.0000 released
Creative have released a beta driver for the X-Fi line of sound cards. I haven't found a change log yet, but you can download the Windows XP (64 and 32 bit)driver at the link below.

I belive this is the beta that was linked on the fourm back in january at which point they said the final release would come in march. If this is the same build as the january build alot of people said they had problems with it and creative highly suggested not useing it.
I installed the linked driver and it warned me that the driver will TIMEOUT on may 17th.... ive never heard of a driver timeing out so ither creative is wanting to make sure that people update every so often, or, this is a beta driver or something like that.... Untill someone else can comment on this, please wait to install the driver. Im off to work or id look more into this. Cyas |
