Bart's PE Builder helps you build a bootable Windows CD-Rom or DVD from Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 very suitable for PC maintenance tasks. It will give you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a graphical user interface (800x600) and FAT/NTFS/CDFS filesystem support. Very handy for burn-in testing systems with no OS, rescuing files to a network share, virus scan and so on.

- PE Builder would report, File "C:\pebuilder3110\BartPE\i386\system32\NTOSKRNL.EX E" not found, on some older windows versions
- After building, PE Builder checks if files required for booting BartPE are missing
- The pre-flight check also did not work OK for server 2003 (with no SP) and Windows XP with SP1, this has been fixed
