Intel GMA 4500M(GM45) - decent at video?

I'm helping a cousin pick her first own computer and it's going to be a laptop. She's not gaming so in order to get the most for a modest sum it looks like we'll be settling on a system based on the GMA 4500M(GM45) chip. I hear it's supposed to be decent for HD video at least, like Bluray/H.264, but I lack the practical experience with that chip. Anyone got any to share? The CPU will be good enough anyway and I'm not worried, just feel like it's important enough to go the extra mile for.

I should go for a simple HD3470 or Geforce 8200/9300/G105M. They are still better in HD-encoding. I don't think the 4500M was so good at it. Maybe for 720p, but I don't think for 1080p.

If the crappy 945 can deal with 720p, I am sure the 4500 will be fine for 1080p.
