Yes that's right a Voodoo 5 6000 forsale and I want $400

Let me know if you are interested. This is a nice card and it has sold on Ebay for as much as $2000 in the past so it's a great deal. I'm selling to get a new ATI card when they come out and I find the card limited in XP.

It worked perfecy and as I say most of the stuff I get has never been used, so the card was almost like brand new

Keep on the look out as I may have more...lol I was suprised at the quick responce.

Non-working 6ks sell for $400-600, working ones go for over a $1k. Which revision was yours? (ie did it use the Intel or Hint bridge, etc etc) If you can somehow get your hands on another, I'll buy it

Basically the same reason I have (2) Quantum3D 3dfx cards and (2) GUSes, they are a piece of computer history. It's all about nostalgia man...

Most of the V5-6ks that sold on eBay came from a single guy, Clay. Who knows how he got em though

Clay? Wasn't he an engineer? If you've ever seen a company fall through... in the last week or so... employees come in pick stuff up and take it home (illegal, but who cares). I'm betting he was working on the 6000 project and when the company fell through... he picked up the boards and carried them off. Made a fortune off of it too

clay run s some stand at a pc market every month in dallas usa

he got the 16 v6000 from the closesure of the dallas 3dfx factory

that no one except clay knows about hehe - so he brought them from a x3dfx person

unnamed cos i dont know who9 it was but he must worked at the dallas factory

also there was 10000 vsa 101 processors for sales that were sold to china i was told

if you contact clay i think you find you can prucahse still a broken v6000

but there too hard to fix becuase there all phototypes and only the final 3700 are any good

Those 10k 101 chips going to China would explain the rumors of those V4s coming with 101s on them.

I still have my original Diamond Monster 3D, and 2 Diamond Monster Voodoo2 SLI, and a 3DFX V5 5500. But they are going into legacy boxes that I am setting up to be sort of like Arcade machines for long forgotten games.

Should have kept my 3DFX V3 3000.

I really wanted one of those Quantum cards bad....

i have a few video cards that i want to let go a Voodoo3 3500 -$50 a Voodoo 5 6000 new ill let go for $450.00 still in box ...a banshee 3D 9910 ill let go for name a price.......i own a computer repair shop here on the east coust and i get alot of orders thatnever get picked up so if your looking for some thing you cant find or you wouldnt mind a used one let me know guys thanks DAversaPCs @msn.com

Are you sure that it is a 6000 ? as they were never boxed, as they never went to retail.

a bunch of voodoo 5 6000's were leaked, none of them have boxes (unless you count the cardboard box they ship it to you in) I bet hes got a 5500.

Although I might have gotten majorly ripped and got a 6000 without a retail box while the ret of them had one.

It's an AGP card. As far as I know, it still works. At least it did when we made the jump to Radeon cards.

Yeah actually, i might be interested in buying it. (V5 5500) I also want a V4 4500. I already have my grubby hands on a V3 AGP and V3 PCI (sorta). These cards are great. One day i wann plug the V5 into a system with a Barton and play some Quake III under glide. (sortof a dream of mine)

Once in a while there is a voodoo5 6000 on ebay for sale. The last one i saw went for 1400$, i don't know what is the big hype about this board. I would never pay that much for an old board such as voodoo5 6000. I do admit it is unique, but it is also useless for todays needs.
