My problem is....I installed the Omega drivers for my voodoo 5 5500 agp. I started playing but after awhile the Comp would reboot. I dont know why... I did a diagnostics and it showed my vcore voltage was low. I raised it but the comp still does the reboot for no reason and will sometimes get an error. I deleted the Omega drivers and reinstalled the original drivers but now my dxdiag shows i only have 30.5mb memory on the v5. Is this normal? if not, how can i change this? Another problem i noticed is that my V5 is sharing an irq.. How do i change this? i read that the v5 needs its own irq. Maybe that could be my reboot problem? Its sharing with my network card.
Oh, the reason i tried Omega drivers is cause i tried playing Battlefield 1942 but it wouldnt work. Any suggestions on that? My specs: amd 1.333ghz, 768mb DDR, 40gig, MSI Via KT266, Voodoo 5 5500 agp, WinME, Not sure what else anyone needs. |

NEVER put anything in PCI slot 1! It *always* shares an IRQ with the AGP slot. Move your NIC to a different slot. And don't worry about dxdiag reporting 30.5mb of memory, remember that each GPU gets 32mb (and the textures are duplicated for each GPU) so technically the card has 32mb to programs. You might want to try the latest drivers on 3DHQ, 1.09 beta 7.

Pish posh
A nuclear power plug? Is that your idea of a joke? That's just preposterous... everyone KNOWS that the V5 5500 requires FUSION power. (God, you're so immature...)
