Amigamerlin 3.1-R11 for 3dfx Voodoo 4/5 is out!
Download: http://www.3dfxzone.it/news/puntatore.php?uid=1176
Look at these results: 3DMark2001SE 1024x768x32 SFFT A29 => 2622 3DMarks AM 3.1-R11 => 2683 3DMarks Half-LifeČ MechWOLLIers Canals09, 1024x768x32 SFFT A29 => 16,0 fps AM 3.1-R11 => 16,3 fps Unreal Tournament PCGH-Timedemo "benchmark", 1024x768x16 SFFT A29 => 96,5 fps AM 3.1-R11 => 96,9 fps Max Payne 2 "Blowing Up", 1024x768x32 SFFT A29 => 28,5 fps AM 3.1-R11 => 37,7 fps Tbred @ ~215x11 = 2370 MHz Abit NF7-S 2.0 2x 512MB @ 215 MHz, 2.5-3-2-11 @ Dual-Channel Voodoo5 5500 PCI @ 180/180 WoW seems to have improvements in speed too, Call of Duty is playable at low settings, but TM Sunrise (demo) is still a little bit ... crazy. The LOD keeps changing all the time from +8 to -8 ... O.o Excellent work! These guys are the ones that keep the community alive! Best driver combination so far! Greetings from Germany, Raff

No 3dfx fanatics left here? What a shame.
Greetings, Raff

not a fanatic. My voodoo 3 was taken away from me. Acutally I gave it to my mother because her onboard video blew.
anyway I dont have a 3dfx card anymore. If I had anything to say about it, 3dfx would still be around though.

Cool enough that there is something new. I have a Voodoo5 lying around and have a feeling that I will see it in action some time again. Downloading to the archives.

At least there are some of you that haven't forgotten the 3D pioneer.
![]() For those who are interested: I'm currently working on a driver comparison for VSA series. Maybe we'll do an english translation, too. And if not: The graphs are the same in every language. ![]() Greetings, Raff
