Somehow I doubt that S3 will become a cotender in the 3D card arena

Yeah the Glaze3D would have been quite badass with its integrated memory. But alas BitBoys gave up (finally) on desktop cards and is now developing a video part for PDAs and whatnot.

It would have been interesting to see Bitboys AXE engineering sample in action(3dmark, Quake3, Comanche4 and etc..). Did/Does it even work?

It's shame that infeon closed their edram fabrication line.
