No offense, but you are running over 2.9 GHZ equivalent and you only get 15,582 on the Radeon? Do you not have the radeon overclocked much?

no offense taken but the post right above yours states my r9700 speed at 325/310 which as I'm sure you know, is stock core/mem speed on that card. So to answer your question, no the card itself is not OCed any.

Shuki, for the overclock, would you happen to know if memory takes any part in how far you can go or is it just a matter of how high you can get the multiplier?

If so, what memory would you recommend in combintion with the 2100+ b? Just curious.

absolutely memory plays a crucial part in overclocking! Most high end overlcockers only use 256Mb for performance but for me, thats just not enough. I need 512. OCZ and Corsair X series are both rated very good but you pay for it... I am just getting ready to order some kingston hyperX series mem from newegg. Its pc3500 rated to run at 2-4-4-8-1T rate. One of the reviewers over there said he's running aggressive at a 205 fsb with this stuff and the price is excellent right now. If you have an older mobo where the mem is not synced I'd get one 512 stick for $169 but if you have a new nforce mobo with synched mem slots, pick up 2x256 for $89 each. For the money, that's what I would recommend getting

Thank you shuki, I know what to save my money for now.

And hey, I'll pick up a 2100b while I'm at it

NO!!! OCZ sucks the **** **** ** ****** *** ****** ***!!! I have OCZ PC3000, and even with high voltage I can't do CAS2 even at 100fsb! Corsair is the only kind of ram that you can expect good timings from at high fsbs, and OCZ is ram you can rely on not working with decent RAM timings...

EDIT: Well, to soften it a bit, I didn't go above 3v with the RAM, and I didn't burn it in for more than a month... but I tried in several computers, and got RAM errors at CAS2 with anything above a FSB of 89, and got RAM errors at anything above FSB 146 regardless of timings...

Geil can also get good timings. But with Geil you NEED 2.8 volts

very nice shuki, I just got a 2400+ that's a AIUHB 0250, and it's running at 2.475GHz @ 1.8v. I can boot at 2.6@1.875v, but it will hit high 50's which I think is too much for the cpu. Maybe I should replace my 2500rpm fan with something better. Btw, I hear the week 48 that you have should be even better; crank that sucka up.

2500 rpm fan? Wow. I could never imagine running a slow fan like that on my baby!

Well, I have 5 of them running in my case (not counting the psu) and it is pretty loud. They are 80mm fans and I think they move 30cfm which is not that bad. I'm waiting for my tax returns and I'm gonna look into watercooling.

Do you at least have a decent heatsink? I can't imagine running a 2500rpm fan.
