0302WPEW T-Bred 2100. Good one for overclocking?

Hi,
Well the 2100 T-Bred Athlons are just starting to trickle in here in Australia and I want one. I have managed to locate a source of "aiuhb 0302 wpew" T-Breds. Now I want to know if these ones are any good for overclocking before I buy one.
Thanks

any B revision core is a good overclocker or at least should be a good overclocker.

I knew it would be better than the palomino 2100 I am currently using I just want to know how good it will be against the other T-Bred B steppings out there. Some T-Bred B`s are crappy overclockers and others are good ones. I just want to know if this is a good one or a bad one. AREA_51

The 2100 T-Bred B is a good overclocker because it has soooooo much headroom.

I KNEW THAT. Dont state what is already clearly known. What I want to know is will this one do 2400Mhz on air cooling like some I have seen will do or will it be struggling at 2200MHZ. (I do have atercooling but I am using the air cooling as an example.) My point is that some steppings are known as super overclockers (IE 2.4Gig on air cooling) and some steppings suck in comparason (IE Struggling at 2.2Gig on air cooling). That is what I want to know. Is this one of the better batches or one of the avarage batches? AREA_51

My 2100+ T-Bred B Overclock Results

I finaly managed to get my hands on a "AIUHB 0302 WPEW" 2100 T-Bred B. I did not bother unlocking it so everything is done at 13x multiplyer. (If you want to skip the epic story of me and my overclock just skip ahead to where I have my final results.) I just chucked it straight into my Epox 8K5A2+ Motherboard in my Koolance PC2 watercooled Case put a bit of Arctic Silver 3 on and started experimenting straight away. The first thing I did (And I do mean the very first thing, Before even finishing the first POST) was go into setup and straight away put the FSB up to 166Mhz WITHOUT changing the voltage. It was happy with that. Windows booted and I used it for a while 100% stable. Even ran flaskmpeg encoding for a while no worries. Thats 2158 true MHZ at default voltage. I tought fine so I went up a bit more. Got it running at 2340Mhz (180Mhz Bus) but I had to push the voltage up to 2.1 volt and it still wasnt stable. I wondered what the problem was. I have since found out that I seem to be at the limit of the bus or ram. I am not sure. or it might be a combination of the CPU Ram and Bus all adding together to cause this unstability. But I dont think I have reached the limit of the CPU. Anyway I backed down to 175.91Mhz Bus at 2287Mhz CPU speed with the hardest possible memory timings and it is rock solid at the moment. So my FINAL RESULTS are this.
My exact hardware that is relivent is
Epox 8K5A2+ motherboard
Athlon T-Bred B CPU stepping "AIUHB 0302 WPEW"
Corsair XMS 3000 512Meg DIMM

My overclock results are (All in true MHZ and at a Multiplyer of 13X)

2158Mhz 166Mhz BUS Hardest possible memory timings. CPU Voltage at default and memory voltage at default. Around 43 derees C temp at idle. (Sorry didnt check under load.)

2275Mhz 175Mhz BUS Leanest memory timings possible. CPU voltage 1.85v memory voltage default. Around 48 degrees C temp at idle. 52 at 100% Load.

2287Mhz 175.91Mhz BUS Hardest possible memory timings. CPU Voltage 1.85v Memory Voltage 2.70v. (Plan to try 2.60v will let you know if that works.) Around 48 degrees C temp at idle. 52 at 100% Load. This is what I plan to keep it running at on a perminent basis.

I am now a full supporter of the 2100 T-Bred B. BTW if anyone wants to know I got this from auspcmaket.com.au. Ordered it on monday after noon(yesterday) and it arrived 8AM this morning. Cant complain about that.

PS.
By the way the I just checked and the current room temp is 28 degrees. I hadnt realised it a that hot but there you are.
