Corsair XMS PC3200 and Corsair XMS PC3200 Low Latency together?
Can it be done? Well, I know it can be done. But if I mix a non Low Latency stick with a latency stick I may mave problems getting good timings? Cuz I will be limited to my slowest stick.... Let me hear your two cents.

They're almost the same sticks, I wouldn't worry, just one's been tested @ that speed while the other hasn't. Both my xms3200c2 256 sticks do 200 FSB Dual Channel @ 2-2-2-6

Shouldnt be a problem, Corsair XMS memory can run at insane speeds, but the memory timings (other than CAS) needs to be set pretty low. Corsair actually recommends that you use fairly slow timings (even on the low latency versions).
so just have fun with it... Both sticks of memory are capable of insane speeds... Good Luck! |

DriveEuro, where did you see it? At what price? I'm somewhat interested in getting some decent non-OCZ RAM sometime soon...

Yeah, Low Latency is 92.50$ there... Bids on ebay are currently 61$, and 51$. I saw a stick of Low Latency go for $72 the other day. With just like 5$ for shipping.

I believe the 3200LL has 5ns chips, instead of the Winbond 6ns that the 3200C2 has.I have been reading about the significant compatibility problems with the SPD on Nvidia N-Force 2 chipsets.Choppy

Oh, well thanks, but I figured this out prolly two days after I posted this. I just have 2x256 Low Latency now. If I clear CMOS then try to boot with the Low Latency then it WILL NOT BOOT. I have to use a cheapo stick of PC2100 to boot. Change RAM timings in bios, save. Shutdown. change ram then it works.

Yeah, they don't have a working bios yet. Just asus. ASUS is the only nForce2 board that has the problem solved.

Abit NF7-S revision is the nicest right now for stock options. The Epox 8RDA+ is the best once you Vmod it.
