Apacer Memory Good or Bad?

Does anyone know anything about this memory brand (Specifically Reviews etc for the PC2700 type) I found a few reviews from Tweakers Austrailia, that reported it was comparable to Crucial, Corsair, and it was better then OZC.

Has anyone had any real world experience with this ram?

New to me.

I've never heard of 'em, it's a new name to me. (That doesn't mean good or bad, just that they're new. )

I've had some, it's alright, nothing special, decent CL2 Generic Ram, but mine had issues with timings, wouldn't do 2-2-5-2 only 2-2-5-3 for some reason

I am running an Apacer PC2700 512mb stick. Didn't have much choice, my OCZ refused to work with this board, A7N8X Del. I am running it at 5-2-2-2 and sitting at 180fsb. I had it up to 187 but wasn't stable enough for 3DMark 2001SE, would make it about half way through it and crash back to windows. I suppose I could of tweaked the setting a bit more and made it stable over 187 if I would of lowered the timing's a bit. But it is rock solid at 185, just prefer less stress on the sytem at 180.

I paid $95 for the stick of 512 in a shop in Madison, WI. Have seen it online for about the same.

It uses Samsung chips and is listed on the compatability list for the A7N8X, the 256 sticks. I guess that is is most likely comparable to the budget sticks of Corsair and the like. Not to sure if it is good enough for 200 fsb, but I am not in to overclocking that much to lower the Multi from 12.5x to find out.

MWAVE is selling it for $82.08

Same here, and that's about my opinion on it as well. It works, but of course it's not as special as the 'premium' brands.
