CPU vs MEM speed

My memory is total crap, and as thus I have to run it on a divider. I am looking for input from people on which they think would be better for gaming.

Option 1:
FSB: 250mhz
CPU: FSB*10 = 2500mhz
MEM: FSB/2 = 125mhz

Option 2:
FSB: 216mhz
CPU: FSB*10 = 2160mhz
MEM: FSB/1.5 = 144mhz

[edit]
... Not sure if I can do this, can't seem to boot system with HTT over 252mhz, even with CPU at x5 and mem at 1:2... Not sure why have HT locked well below 1000mhz... humm...

Option 3:
FSB: 288mhz
CPU: FSB*8 = 2304mhz
MEM: FSB/2 = 144mhz

My real big question is, will I see a diffrence with the extra 19mhz that 144 has over 125?

If i losen up my timings and up the voltage on the ram I can do like 2.4ghz CPU and ~160mhz on RAM... going to do some mem benchmarking.

[edit]

Nope, ram won't run at that speed... it's such crap! lol.

Option 1 would probably give you the best results for gaming.

Can't you run some higher dividers though? And why is your ram so far from 200 MHz, what's the top it will run at?

I actually just stepped down my overclock by 300 MHz on my 3000+ Winchester. I'm running at only 2 GHz now, but I'm able to do so with 1.325 volts. For the 300 extra MHz, I had to crank the voltage up past 1.6v. (which I'd been doing for the past year, fully stable)

My mem is PC2700 aperntly, which is 133mhz (it gets 2-2-2-7 at 144 though) however, geting it there is tricky having to lower processor speed considerbly and playing with dividers...

On the A64's cpu MHz makes the most difference, so option 1 would be my choice

Always go for cpu speed first, and if you aren't sure, run superPI or another benchmark to see what's faster
