The temps looks alright....but why don't you run 300x8 instead?...in that way you'll run the RAM 1:1 and achieve the same MHz as you have now.

300+ fsb has it's advantages
![]() but those results look a bit on the high side even for the supplied AMD heatsink. (the load @ 51*C is high i mean). durring the winter i could run 273fsb x 10 with 4x HTT. Durring the summer however i can only manage a 273 x 9.5 x 4x htt.

Its the summer hear, hot as fooook and im getting temps of 31c idle with slow RPM on the fan and at max load no higher than 35c in games and 41c maxout load 100% on both cores.
this is with a ThermalTake Typhoon 120mm Cooler. i recommend them 100% for better cooling performance and those temps are in the summer just imagine when in the winter lol my cpu was at 2.65ghz. x2 4400+ |

Temps are great but its best not to use .5 cpu multi's on the A64's.

Where's the proof?
Why do you say that? What happens? What solid evidence do you have that you cannot use .5 multiplyers?
I've done it on both mine, usually running 10.5, and while I have had the usual, infrequent anomolays and issues, I have them with or without the .5 multiplyer....

What happends when running on a .5 multiplyer is that your RAM won't be running in 1:1 anymore...the performance hit isn't substantial so I'd say keep your .5 multis..

I never said you can't use them. But like said you will lose performance so the choice is yours

I'm already running at 2T because of my 4Gb (four X 1Gb) of memory, if that is what you are referring to. Otherwise I am running my RAM at 91.5% (183) so how does this affect me now? I'm puzzled.
