BTW must have been a pisser to hear MS are extending the warranty to 1 year for all consoles bought before christmas 2005.

what was the biggest slap in the face is after almost a year micro $oft finally admitting that the first batch of 360's were defective and they held their ground so firmly. only now are they refunding ppl that sent them in for service out of warranty. i could've sent mine in and gotten a brand spankin' new one. but then i wouldn't have ever carved into my box had i gone that route. decisions, decisions. oh i'm going to have some extra time coming up so i'll crack back into my mod and try to wrap it up.

............well...as most of u know i've a a bit of a project going on with my 360 that i haven't quite been able to finish..well...i recently installed my lights and was happy. i was out today and bought gears of war, rushed home, threw my 360 back together and played the crap out of it for..oh 10 minutes. then it froze...

damnit! i restarted and got the lights of death again. same secondary error codes as well. 0102. (i know how to fix that, but DAMN!) so then i go to boot up my pc to get onto driver heaven to bi*$h and complain...when lo and behold i get an error beep and i fail to get video to my monitor. i thought to self "self...u did jack up the voltage quite a bit." but as my cold cathode lights warmed up i noticed that the top(err bottom depends on how u look at it) was glowing. BUT HOW?!? so i then follow a trail up the mobo to the north bridge waterblock. :*(. this is worse that the time i destroyed my P4 630 on my birthday. i am going to dismantle my pc and my 360 simultaneously. i will use same fix for my 360 mobo, and as for my pc i will attempt to clean out the pci-e socket for it could very well just be gummed up(crosses fingers). my pc finished posting...which leads me to believe that it may not have shorted out. oh and to make matters worse. yesterday i was at my new, unlived in, uninhabited-new house and our builder must have done something wrong when he installed the faucet in the kitchen sink...for it leaked all over the floor, got in between the floor tiles soaked into the sub-floor. buckled it and warped the tiles. i need ANOTHER NEW FLOOR!!! is there any possible way that life can take an even larger dump on my head? jeeze! oh yea and i lost everything on HD about a week ago.)pics, music, video's, game saves, porn and such. this time i will take all new pics of everything. including installing the watercooling for the 360. <nuke out>

damn man. talk about a strike of bad luck! for the whole floor thing, i'd make the plummer dude/company pay out of their pocket for it, since they did a piss poor job of doing a job right. maybe you can get something out of that?

woohooo!!! i am on MY pc now. i took a Q-tip and swabbed alcohol across the gfx card's leads, then put some in pci-e slot. then i inserted and removed the gfx card a bunch of times and it cleaned out the socket of the dye from the water leak. i am going to shut it down however until i get my leak fixed.

. NEXT....my 360!

it was a biznitch getting the waterblock retaining clips to stay on. i'm looking forward to fighting them again.

alright it's been a while. but i have actually gotten some time to work on da box. aside from my delay with the whole "had to completely disassemble, fix, reassemble" phase i suffered thru a lil while back. i have made some progress. so without further delay..(i know shut up and show the pics...)here is my 360 so far. still not done yet, but getting better.

Looks nice man, i was gonna get a 360 but i was waiting for the bugs to get worked out, but then i found counter strike source, now i play that too much to need a 360, plus everything good excep Gears of War and halo 3 is on PC
