The Thermalright HR one is good. But there are plenty of other good ones. Many manufacturers are starting to make tower heatsinks for northbridges, all of which are pretty good.

I like my Thermalright NB-1... the 40MM fan you use is up to you, but the stock Delta one works well if you don't mind noises or have used Delta fans in the past

It depends on the board really but for the NF4 or any other board where size is limited due to gfx card placement the Evercool cools great, is quiet, and very cheap.

Yup, it is the only one that is recommended by DFI and is the same one used on their new boards. Dropped temps by a solid 5c degrees on mine and is a lot quieter.

Really? Woot, I definitely have to get it then. The stock one is buggin' the hell out of me. Btw, it doesn't have any clearance issues with vid cards does it?

i got the http://images.google.ca/images?q=nb47j&hl=en for my nforce2's dead/failing fan... should have replaced it like 4 months ago

i hear the nforce4's are super hot, so active cooling would be better

@ Kahlos: some info as to what MoBo you have would help us, help you in deciding what NB cooler would work best for your rig

the what was considerd best one is like $39 are you willing to pay that?
and newer coolers that are out use heat pipes could be better...

other wise look for coolers like:
THERMALRIGHT HR-05 HIGH-RISER NORTHBRIDGE COOLER
COOLER MASTER RT-UCL-L4U1 CM BLUE ICE NORTHBRIDGE CHIPSET COOLER
THERMALTAKE CL-C0034 EXTREME SPIRIT II NORTHBRIDGE COOLER
