dell dimension 8250 overclocking?

i just have my new comp here. dell dimension 8250 with p4 2,8 stepping C1 and 2x 256 Samsung rdram 1066
runs on i850e chipset.
anyone have a clue how to overclock this thing... ? how to overclock the p4 itself?!
i have only athlons before so i dont have any clue how to overclock an p4... some links will maybe nice

nope, he is right when he says "there is NO way you can overclock it". this is very true. trust me i had a dell and tried everything. only thing you can do is break one of the pins on your processor, i believe its BSEL0. and thats only if your CPU is a 400Mhz processor. if its a 533, which i assume yours is, then there is nothing you would gain from this.

Clipping the pin will only work if the CPU can handle being overclocked that high. Which usually means massive voltages, and even more cooling.

Since this is a dell computer that we are talking about here... more than likely there are absolutely no voltage controls.

You might be able to remove the motherboard, and replace it with a more overclocking friendly motherboard.
