8RDA+ question

if i use ddr 400 mem and run it at 266 will i be able to run the T(RAS), (TCAS), T(RP) settings at 1
and will this improve mem speed
i may run the mem on 300 if i overcloak us well
i will not do the more then fsb mem thing it does not help only makes speeds worse

Depends on the memory, but usually when you underclock it you can pull lower numbers. If you have a Tbred you should crank the fsb up if you have ddr400. Good luck

i plan to do so(:
but this is still quite intresting
for instance i hear alot of the boards wont go over 190 fsb
so i could use low settings with it and still get the max for fsb perhaps

I have seen afew reviews where they reach 230MHz easily. I have an 8RDA and the max it could was 196 stock but with the voltmod I'm running at 215MHz while keeping the timings fairly low at 7/2/2/2.5 with XMS 3200 mem. It all depends on the luck of the grab but the boards have probably gotten much better since I got mine. You can't go wrong with Epox.

i dont plan on doing volt mods i do plan to overclock alot of course also burn the chip in at high volt helps just so you know
anyway im gonna use 2x 512 ddr 400 sumsung
