2 questions about ATT and Speedfan
is there a way to load speedfan at startup?
other one i cant get a new profile in ATT. I can overclock it to 550/570 without artifacts, but i cant make a profile so it will load this oc at startup. it will save the profile as 0.00:0.00 instead of 550.xx:570.xx anybody know something for this problem?

I think speedfan has a load with windows option, if not just add a shortcut of Speedfan to your "startup" folder in the program menu. Easy as that |

As far as speedfan goes, I don't know. You can use ATT to set a custon fan speed to be loaded with your profile also. |

just drag a speedfan shortcut to the Startup folder under the Start menu.

, i know how to save a profile in ATT. the problem is ATT wont do it.. this is what i get if a save a oc.![]() it saves it as 0.00:0.00. but after a restart it always goes as 500:500. if i save in profile 550:570, it saves it as 0.00:0.00

Thats the only reason I know of that will save the clock profile like that.
I noticed in the screenshot that the box is not ticked to include clocks in profile. After a reboot does the setting not stick or did you uncheck it yourself. If the box is not ticked before you try to save the OC then that is how it will save. If you are doing it right and it still happens then try to uninstall and reinstall ATT. I am not trying to underestimate your abilities or keep poking in the same direction. If the box was ticked in your picture then I wouldn't give it a second thought.

aah.. that's the problem. I thought you meant the box at the bottom "load selected profile at startup".
i overlooked the box you pointed out. guess that is new with this version. the last version i used didnt have that, although im not totally sure about that now ![]() btw, how long should i leave the "Scan for artifacts" on, to be sure my overclock is safe

Scanning for artifacts is one of those things where it depends on how picky you are. If your card is running with decent temps and you are satisfied with the OC you are scanning and you let it run ten or fifteen minutes without any artifacts then you are probably fine. If you are on the high end of acceptable temps for your card and you still want to push your card to the limit without any artifacts then let it run until you are happy. There really is no set time limit. You could scan for ten minutes without any artifacts and let it run longer and even though the temps never rise you could still start getting artifacts in a few more minutes or an hour, etc. There are so many things on the card that can end up overheating that you have no way of monitoring the temp. |
