Overlocking AMD Dual Core 64 3800+

As you could probobly see I've got an AMD Dual Core X2 64 3800+

I wonder how could I overclock it for maximum performance during gaming. Honestly, I have no freaking idea
on how to overlock and I've never overlocked my pc before...

Anyway, could someone really explain how to overlock it and how to overclock it for maximum performance while gaming. Tell me if you need any system specs except the one I'll post now, and yes this is all I could find.

whats the model of your motherboard? i know it's a gigabyte, but what model etc

multiplier on 5x instead of 10x?
take a look at this thread (not same cpu, but the links in the threads shall tell you alot), and this one (check the links in this thread also).
searching the forum for threads with overclocking the x2 3800+ will get you some threads...

i overclocked the x2 3800+ from 2.0Ghz to 2.6Ghz. but used a 3rd pary paste and cooler..

Right now I'm reading about tweaking and I have fine tune. I just found out it was on my Gigabyte CD where I could install software/utilities. And I saw Finetune is a overlocking program. Hopefully soon I'll be overclocking.

EDIT :
Well, I got all confused... Could someone (probobly with an AMD X2 Dual Core 64 3800+) tell me which settings I have to change and what's the limit. I can change my BIOS with Finetune which I find a lot easier..
