exclamation overclocking my 7950 gx2

Hey guys i have an xps 700 with my nvidia 7950 gx2. i want to overclock it, so i installed ntune and used that but all u can do with it is let ntune over clock it for you so i did the fine tuning option.took about 3 hours, i saved the results but after reboot it went back to the defualt settings. wat i need is a good application i can use to overclock my graphics card that is easy and safe and possibly some feed back from people with the same graphics card stating wat they were able to acheive with overclocking. thanks alot guys

try using Coolbits2 or RivaTuner. those are some good popular apps . or even the newest version of ATI Tool i believe will let you do some OCing. not sure about that one though as i've only heard of it.

I kinda like ati tool the best. on my 7950gx2 the core wall on stock volts was like 605mhz then it just starts artifacting even though it wasn't overheating. i never hit a wall on the memory, had it to 1900mhz before but i think i had it water cooled by then.

Yeah you can also use the "find max" functions to find out how high it will go before artifacting. i usually never let it run the full course though.
