Good!OK,I just downloaded the BIOS that will let me have control of the FSB and RAM settings. When this board 1st came out the only way to OC the thing was to use ASUS's 5%-10%-15% or 20% CPU OC option.Which is crap! When you OCed the rig to 20% the board would throw the voltage WAYYYYY up.The CPU temps. would be 55C at idle and 65C with a load.TOO MUCH!The problem I'm having is with the RAM settings.I have never quite understood RAM settings.Right under the box that lets you fill in the FSB number, theres a box that lets you fill in the speed for the RAM.Thats where I'm LOST.....???

What Corsair ram are you using? Likely its 4-4-4-12 or 5-5-5-15. Those are all numbers in reference to how fast the memory clears the banks of information and moves the new stuff in. Thats of course not bandwidth of the ram like DDR2 800 or DDR2 1000.... Post what your ram is and we can go from there with that

You got your Modules Part name? Like 6400C4, 6400C5, 6400C3DF, and so on and so forth? Kinda like how my ram is listed in my profile, it will either be on the ram label, or on the packaging. But probably on both. Yeah those clocks on that ram are bad needs a lil tuning, set it to 5-5-5-15, and like a 20 for the cycle time. Having your model number would help out alot because I would know the SPD and stock voltage and could tell you what those sticks will do

4-4-4-12 @ 2.0v or 2.1v should do the trick, tighten the last timing to 20 the cycle bank time. See how she runs. You can also try 3-4-3-9 2.2v and see if she runs ![]() Some other good ones to try are 4-3-3-8, 4-3-3-6, etc etc keep your voltage under 2.3v without active cooling and even then dont go over 2.4v or anywhere near on those actually. I would say your safe point on that ram is 2.2-2.3v-----2.3v being extreme but I would say run it 4-4-4-12 or 4-4-4-10 maybe even run DDR2 1000 4-4-4-12 if it will let you, if not try relaxing timings to 5-5-5-# and see what gives you better performance with stability
