RIV@NVX will become famous soon enough
System Specs

1700+ JIUHB overclocking

I got myself 1700+ JIUHB 0310XPMW CPU.
I did the wire trick and installed it.
In BIOS I was able to choose standard multipliers, up to 12.5 (14 and 15 were mapped to 5 and 5.5).

Is there a way to choose a multiplier higher than 12.5 with this CPU and KT3? I am sure it can do more than that, but I am unable to try it

Why would you need a higher multiplier? Crank up the baby to 12.5 x 180 and increase the voltage.

The "wire trick" / workaround is only for manually resetting the 8x adder bit on chips with a 13 or greater multiplier combined with a motherboard that does not support changing the 5th bit..

For more info on the Athlon bridges and circuitry, check out http://www.beachlink.com/candjac/index.htm

I have an AIUHB 2100+ (Supposeably the A means that its a high end chip). Do you think I'll get even better overclocks when I install it, or is their just something speacial about the 1700+ JIUHB?

Take a speaker wire, or any wire. You need a single tiny strand of wire being less than 1cm long. Bend it in U-shape and drop it nicely into the holes shown below. Put the CPU in and ready to boom...
