More Odd Overclocking Results

3.3 Infineon memory.

Why do I get artifacts when I restart my computer? It happens randomly as well, but when I do a cold boot (Power off and power on) the artifacts go away. 3D Mark tests show no signs of artifacting. This afternoon, when I got back from school I turned on the monitor (I left my PC on defragmenting and the ATI Caves Screensaver must have kicked in or something) I found artifacts. The speeds were 314 for Memory and 324 for Core. I just set the memory to 297 MHz, but the artifacting persisted, however I restarted the PC with PCI booting and no artifact thus far. Very strange indeed.
