help! i need to know how to remove the heatsink from my ati card

Ok i have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb card. It has been running great until about a week ago when i rebooted and noticed that the fan was screaming.... the bearing is gone... i rigged up an old p1 heatsink fan for the timebeing, but i need assistance getting the heatsink removed... it appears to be glued on... and i also need assistance on buying a new hsf (i just need info on which is a good one to get)
any help would be appreciated!

I would take advantage of the ATI warranty and RMA it

It's not glue...it's just a bit stuck. Heat it up with a air dryer and then try removing it. A couple of 3dmark loops will do just fine also.

lol!!! Well I actually have an RMA number, but I just can't do without a video card. I may actually go buy a Radeon 9500 Pro 128mb and then send in the 9000 Pro...

It's not thermal grease either. It's a thermal pad.
