yes they can overclock just not as well. And dealing with the drivers was a pain also. Well compared to tother boards. Really I run a small computer store so I get to play with allot of parts. You get to know the ones you want to sell really quick. The only nice thing about asus is the warranty. I mean that in a good way too. They dont hastle you about the warranty like some other companies do.

Apparently the NF7-S rev2.0's are supposed to be excellent overclockers. A friend was able to reach 230fsb and 2ghz with a 2500+ with normal air cooling.

I know people doing that easy with the epox boards and xp2100. For myself as we sit here I have and xp2100 runnning on my epox board with air cooling and it is running at 2100ghz something but it comes up as an xp2700. I dont remember exactly and at that I've only got the voltage up to possibly 1.7 at the most. It is most likely at about a 1.675 as I try to stay under that for air cooled stuff. and yes the 230fsb is fairly easy to achive on the epox boards. I will see just how high i can push the fsb today. I havn't really tried to push it way up there as I just wanted it running good but didn't really care about pushing things so far this time. It's most likely at about 180 fsb right now.

Hm I just realized that is was indeed running at 1.675 vcore. Which was a bad on my part. The core default is 1.70. I was undervolting the stupid thing. Anyway I pushed it up to 220 fsb but for me ram timings are everything. even if the fsb sufferes a little if you keep your ram timings higher you will get better performance. I can prove this even on abit boards and have pics for anybody that wants to see them.
Anyway I pushed the ram timings a little to hard and corupted my hard drive fun fun. But at 220fsb it was about 2.1ghz. for this little xp2100. I'm fairly happy with this. almost forgot this has all been on the epox boards.

hey guys... you dont overclock motherboards... you overclock the processors. But the motherbboard allows you to overclock the processor. As i know it that particular mobo will unnlock processors by default. So assuming you have a T-Bred B processor then that would a pretty good choice for a motherboard.
