FSB baby steps

Try a little bit with the FSB first. What cooler do you have? Stock Cooler? If the answer is yes, then don't go more than 10 FSB up. And Always use the last BIOS of your board.

In Tbred cpu multipliers are not locked, am I right?

So you can reduce the multiplier to 12x and raise FSB to 166mhz. But only if your memory can handle this!. Assuming that you have now 15x133mhz. That should speed up your computer dramatically, and temperatures shouldn´t raise at all.

So what memory (how fast) are you using? If it is 333mhz or better this should work.

it depends on the motherboard whether or not the cpu is unlocked... if it unlocks one athlon xp it unlocks them all... pally or tbred or barton (assuming it is officially supported) but the tbred i know for sure is the only one that is TOTALLY unlocked... he can raise the fsb more than only 10 MHz... 10 MHz wont even raise the temperature 1 degree... but yes... give us some more specs... the type of core your cpu has, the type of ram you have (DDR or not? brand? and speed...) and we will go on from there.
