can anyone recommend a good heatsink for this?
just got my
8600 GT XXX yesterday, threw on some AS5 and started running it......one problem......the stock heatsink is LOUD. Can anyone give me a fairly cheap, decent aftermarket cooler to replace it? it must be quiet and i plan on OCing a little after i get a better sink on there thanks

Yep, that is also quite a nice HS for low/mid range cards. Needs a fan for the top end stuff.

Also if your temps are good you can use nTune to control the fan speeds. This might save you some money and hassle. Of course nothing beats a nice quiet heatsink but its a good second choice

A Zalman VF500 would be more than enough for that little card; it's better than stock and almost silent. Why slap a 50 dollar cooling solution on a 70 dollar card? :?
