9500pro low 3dmark/display corruption after bios flash
I flashed my ATI 9500pro with warps bios and windows now detects my card as a 9700pro and when windows xp starts there is some blocky video noise just before I log on. This happens whether I overclock or not. Performance is decent but not great and everything appears to run stable so far except for my low 3dmark scores.
I flashed it with two bios's with the same size but different dates. oc9500.bin dated december and 95pro128.bin dated january system: xp2400 512mb ddr2100 a7v266e 3dmark2001se cat3.4 latest hyperion not overclocked 10300 overclocked 11340 @ 330/285 |

not all 9500s will take that flash successfully. And unfortunately, sounds like yours is one of the ones that will not
I'd flash back...

Oh, that's normal.
The noise I mean. It happens to me, but my memory is @ 303.75 MHz, if you put it back to stock clock it shouldn't happen. The noise doesn't usually happen if you cold boot..

BIOS
I think warp11 bios is crap, its old and incompatible with to many cards. Although Warp11's work is amazing, because did figure out how to crack that pesky BIOS. Any who long story short, I accidentaly deleted my original BIOS which was newer then any bios warp11 had for the 9500 pro and it caused me extreme headaches. I looked around on rage3d forums and some one was kind enough to send me a new BIOS (even newer then the one I had) any who before I could do at max 330/303 with warp's 320/297 but with the new one I get 350/313 with no artifacting
![]() If you would like the BIOS for ATI cards I can send it out to you.. BTW I have a Radeon 9500 PRO Infeon 3.3NS ram (built by ATI) |

Email them to me, and I will host them for you. That will be easier on you than emailing everyone that wants them

My BIOS is..
February 27th 2003. I found it over at Rage3D. I o/c 357.75/303.75. I really dislike pushing the memory, even though it appears stable in 3Dmark tests, it's actually quite a nuisance in gaming.

Hmm
I had the same thing at 303.35 and not a touch more with original Bios on my card. Tried Warp's and it was only good for 297 now that I got this new bios its rock solid at 313.35

The patch fixes the problem.. did you make the same mistake as I? (I installed 1.1 patch and then put 1.0 no-cd crack over it, and I still had the problems.. then later on I realized all the patch does is change your gta-vc.exe file, so I found a 1.1 no-cd crack and now it works -- this is with old card geforce fx5200
)BLAH: Did you use the FIXED_33.bin bios or the 9500_33.bin, I flashed mine to the FIXED_33.bin and when I set my mem/core and click Use Current and I restart it doesnt stay, it goes back to default.
