That means that he bought it for a lower price because the MoBo was used. Refurbishing is just a fancy word for "cleaned/fixed" The MoBo was either cleaned or fixed. In most cases refurbished items are fine, but people sometimes don't feel comfortable with using used parts. Refurbished items usually have limited warranty with the place where it was refurbished.

You take a chance buying refurbished parts.
A guy I know bought a refurbished mobo and when I installed it, the southbridge started to smoke.

nah~, it isnt it is stated PC2100 UNB CL 2 on the label....
and i mean which 3x00PC i'm now on, 382MHZ...

pc 3200 is @ 400Mhz
The P4PE gives you a choice about how fast you can run your ram.
At 150fsb 400 is as fast as I can go.

wait a minute!!!!!! if you are running on DDR mem, then isnt 150fsb X2 =300, where does the 400mhz come from??

The memory speed is independent of the fsb.

In other words I can run it faster than my fsb..

I'm maxed out..Most likely due to RAM or I'm required to raise my VCore some more. *Sigh* 3.366 GHz is my max.. My goal was 3.4! I wanted a 1 GHz O/C =/

hmmm....that's strange, very strange indeed....you're running on almost 800fsb, right?? you did OC you memory, right?? cause i scored 8791/3992 on the CPU and 2810/2800 on the memory........must be a problem with my PC

how'bout you running it a few more times to get the highest score and see if its comparable

whats' a TV tuner?? you mean you're running your PC with a TV?? oh~ and i think its a problem with my PC cause there's no reason i can beat a 3.06ghz with hyper threading on and nearly reach 3.06 800fsb with HT, maybe you can.....try rebooting

I had my TV Tuner program paused in the background. I turned it off and got a marginal increase. Do you have the latest Sisoftware Sandra installed?

Click WebUpdate feature and see if you have the latest. Got Sandra Sisoftware 2003 right? But there have been patches out for it.
