Is your South Bridge cooled?
Mine isn't. But I do have an extra Heatsink from a friend of mine. I can split it in half to use it to cool my 2 P4 Mobo's South Bridges, but I wonder if I really need it, because my SB isn't hot to the touch. I saw the thermal pics of the Nforce2 Epox board and it looks like it gets very hot. My question is: Is it just Nforce boards that have hot hot SBs?

My southbridge is cooled, but not because it needs it. I had an extra ramsink and I felt that that was the safest spot for me to keep it to prevent it from getting lost.

I have only found it necessary to cool the southbridge on nForce 2 boards. From what I've seen from the VIA and Intel boards I've played with is they do not get nearly as hot. Although it never hurts to have some extra cooling
