yah, True Black 120 is currently an expensive CPU cooler.

------------------------------

the True Black 120 has a small clearance problem when using it on P5Q Deluxe, one of its heatpipe hits the P5Q Deluxe's stock NB sink.
it's still fit okay, but for a protection and damage reduction of the stock sink i lay down a piece of double sided foam tape between them.

or instead, you can also install the CPU cooler like this (below) image.

if anyone interested in using OCZ Vendetta 2 on P5Q Deluxe's, here's a pic of the clearance between the cooler's heatpipes and the board stock sinks

Panging, how much better the True Black performs with two fans?

As of my experience, one 1600-2000 RPM fan is = 2x 1000-1100 RPM fans.

it performs best when you use two very high RPM fans, this's for a heavy overclocking.
it's quite loud for non overclocking use.

i think one good 1200-1600 RPM fan is quite adequate for most people needs.

I use a couple of these Tekheads.co.uk Work well and silent.

If I wanted to push the cpu any further id have to increase the fan flow and noise levels but 4.2ghz seems to be quite a good spot.
