Re: AMD kit winners - post your overclocks here
until that 1000w corsair arrives judas you might want to put another gpu into the rig and see if you can go further. i couldnt even reach 3.6 on my older psu when i had my 4870x2 in; i could but not without a few bsods. And that was a below-average 750w psu, removing the 4870x2 temporarily allowed me to progress until the new psu arrived.

Congratz guys on those awesome AMD Fueled kits! I've never really been in this section of the forum before so I didn't realise what great miracles Zardon and AMD were performing!
![]() Have fun with the kits guys! You picked the right people Zardon (Now they just need to post results)

i'm just hoping that perhaps with the new APC unit and the corsair Power Supply, i'll be able to weazel a wee bit more out of it.. From the post above, it looks like i have the highest overclock ghz wise... and lowest memory speed... lol... I just REALLY Don't want to fry or insta kill these fun products..

On another note, I am wondering whether I should start aiming for 4Ghz with this chip, going by internet postings about this thing, my voltage is lower than anyone else who pushed the thing to 3.6Ghz, it is stable, and temps are good. The only thing stopping me...me. When I clocked this thing to 3.6Ghz I was expecting it to fail, and to gradually pull it back to stability, the fact that this is even running at this speed, let alone stable, is er...shocking.

Re: AMD kit winners - post your overclocks here
Heh no, if this thing was at stock voltage I would have fetched a priest as this CPU would be officially the work of a higher power.
No, the thing is set at 1.28v, which is still well within the official VID and only about .14volts above stock, which just isn't natural. If it wasn't for the fact that I have seen it pass OCCT tests, I would call myself a liar, heh.

Re: AMD kit winners - post your overclocks here
I'm pretty confident that you all can get there. Just a matter of time and patience. Considering that these CPUs don't appear to be breaking a sweat temp wise as long as you're able to push a little harder you may keep it relatively cool.
Keep up the good work!

Re: AMD kit winners - post your overclocks here
With the corsair 1000watt psu.. i've attempted to push further ... but i still can't break into the 3.8ghz range without it BSODing ... 3.75ghz @ 1.55v is all she'll do atm....
soon as i get the faster ocz ram.. i'm going to try again....

Re: AMD kit winners - post your overclocks here
Got 8gb of DDR2 PC8500 OCZ Gold ram the other day...
Slapped it in.... set the memory to 1ghz and fire it up... my scores in most things has increased noticeably... but i want to see if i can coax a bit more out of it before i post some results. My overclock appears to be still unable to get above 3.75ghz stable. However i think i'm going to try fiddling with the other voltages such as the NB and whatnot. I tried posting @ 300fsb..... but lol.. yeah didn't work out ..... neither did 275.... so i'm guessing i need a bit more power in those areas.....
