What cooling are you using for your ATI 9x00 cards?

Just wondering what kind of cooling people are using for their ATI 9000 series cards. What kind of speeds are you running at, links greatly appreciated, got the big $$ paycheck and looking to drop some loot on mod pieces. Let me know what works for YOU!!

I have a watercooled r9700 pro. I built the waterclock myself. Its at 380/349 Because I wanted it at 9800pro speeds, and I wanted the ram to run at its rated speed. I put ram sinks on both sides of the card. I did take it up to 400 and it ran with very few artifacts. (A few dots on the back wall in the first scene of 3dmark03 game test 3, but thats it)

Zarrdy? any chance you use the proper online name dude? unless you want me to hack into your account and rename you Maxxypoos.

anyway, max settings are for benchmarking and its really pushing the card to its limits.

24/7 is the settings I would run all the time (24 hours in a day/ 7 days a week).

The card isnt volt modded, its a reference board given to me by ATI with some very nice ram on it, and I run it with stock cooling.

It might be 2.0ns ram, I saw a powercolor card with it. (normaly you associate powercolor with using cheaper components though so I can't be entirely sure)

now the question is.... should I let him keep trying to log in as maxwell1234? or email him his new user name and password.

sorry for the offtopic guys, we just need to reign in maxxypoos and ^_^ a little recently due to overall board weirdness. normal service is resumed.

Drunken staff meeting tonight on IRC!!!!!

Personally I find the name-change hilarious and a perfectly suitable punishment for disrespecting you and your authority here. E-mail him his new name and password by all means, how else are we gonna demigrate him and complete the ritual of humiliation?

Remember kids: Mods are not only right, they DEFINE right/wrong here. I'm not lecturing or being sarcastic, that's just the way the world is on this and every other bulletin board out there.

These mods/admins also happen to be about the coolest, most laid back, and most respectful of user's rights/opinions as any I've ever happened across.

Maxxypoos was totally pwned, and he totally asked for it.

Two points for style and a three pointer for humor on that one out of me Z, for a whopping and record breaking FIVE POINT MODERATION MOVE!!!!!

Even if Max wanted to he doesn't have the skills to hack this server, its fairly secure. Max, Zardon did that because he's the admin/owner and can do what he wants. He did it partially as a punishment, and partially to show you he wasn't kidding.

Hhhmm sorry for the off topic reply, but does the above come into the "childish" behaviour section, or the "power trip" section. Just cant quite put my finger on it.

Back to topic: Standard atm, but a DangerDen block just waiting to be put on
