Overclocking an MSI Geforce 4 Ti4200?

What kind of speeds do you think I'll be able to achieve with stock cooling? I was just OCing at 110% the cards normal capacity. I don't know, if you're bored and feel like giving me your two cents it'd be appreciated.

i fell ive done fairly well with overclocking my gf4 ti 4200. but i can achive a higher speed becasue of the type of gfx cooling i have. i also added heatsinks to the memory chips. also using a thermal probe might be a good idea. if your card works fine overcloked to the max without graphical errors or crashes it should be ok aslong as u have a decent cooler.

They don't sell them seperatly, yet. You need to buy an Abit OTES card to get it, and it will be preinstalled.

With my PNY GF 4 Ti-4200, I was

able to reach 290/620. I don't know whether or not that's the limit because I didn't bother to go beyond that point. The PNY card comes with aluminum GPU fan and aluminum heatsinks and it overclocks very well.

I would say a "safe" overclock with stock GPU fan and heatsinks would be 290/620.
