Voltages

In my Gigabyte EasyTune program the voltage of the Vcore is currently sitting at 1.610v whilst being set to normal in the BIOS. It used to be at 1.550v.

Is this normal?
I'm a bit worried cos' during serious overclocking (1.7v in BIOS) takes this to nearly 1.8v

Any ideas?

is your CPU OCed??? and why did you set it to 1.550v instead of the default 1.525v??? all i can say is, believe what is written in your bios......cause sometimes i have that problem too, sort of like when i enabled fast writes in bios, it wasnt detected as enabled in softwares......cheers, mate..

Wasn't software overclocking, just using the utility to measure the core temp.

The overclocking utility seems to default to 1.550v - no idea why.
