Video Card Memory changes

My video card's Memory speed keeps change i thought it was suppose to stay at a certain a Mhz is it suppose to change?

Rage 128 xpert and no o/c o tried but the results sucked cause the program iused only webt up to 170 but usally runs and 216 but not latley it's gone up and then it goes down

There's no way in the world a Rage Xpert is going to o/c that high! Those things came clocked at 90/90 at the highest from the factory, but most likely yours is around 75/75 (ATI never stuck to a set clockrate for cards back then). So unless you have some liquid nitrogen cooling, I think your overclocking program is really screwed up! For something that old, I'd recommend the Rage128 Tweaker from my site

I am using the Rage 128 Tweaker and it's version 1.5 it tells me that my core is at 108Mhz and my memory is at 216 Mhz

i'm guessing that it is assuming that your ancient card has somehow gotten ddr memory?

I have no clue i know/could find is that has 16MB of Ram! (oh boy) lol

(...sourcer runs to best buy .... gets there but then relizes he has left his wallet at home)
