Overclocking~

Here's a report I wrote for my English class and handed in today. It's a brief "Overview of Overclocking". It includes a simple guide towards overclocking as well. It's my first revision. If needed, I will update it and revise it as requested. I think it's great for beginners to this enthusiast's hobby.

The Overclocking Report

Corrections or Modifications...or anything. Please post!

EDIT: I believe you need to Save Target As. The file is in .pdf format. (Adobe Reader)

I hope this is just a draft because your paper was poorly written in terms of fluidity of idea, grammar, and general writing.

If this is a school project, you should always keep in mind the target of your audience. For people here at DH, your paper is easy to understand because we have some background in the OC'ing scene. For regular students, however, this paper fails to properly target your audience.

Optimummind has some very good points.

Also there are some badly phrased part (I just skimmed through)
Like, Overclocking is and Economical solution.... Not true, only for the user at that time is it. BUT this stops people buying the faster processors SO increasing the prices of the whole range SO costing everyone more... NOT Economical...

Overclocking was around longer than AMD and Intel that you know of and isn't just done on their chips.

Yeah the target audience is the computer knowledged. It was never meant for the complete n00b. It's actually for Technical English. I was worried about it's fluid flow though. It is my first time writing a paper of this type.

Thanks for the proofreading though

It's hard to proofread something you wrote yourself 10 minutes after you've written
