It'll work fine. I shouldn't be a problem any more than running PC133 in a PC100 board. Actually, a lot of people put faster, overclocked (since there was no official PC2700 at the time) RAM into their boards to hit higher FSBs.

I run Samsung PC2700 -CTL in my now oldass Abit KG7-RAID and it works great. No 1/5th PCI divider limits me to a 166mhz FSB though (harddrives don't like more than a 41.5mhz PCI).

so that means i can put some 2700 ram in my kr7a-133 board and it'll still register with it? will it work with my already existing 2100 ram too?

believe it will run at 2100 speed if you mix. check out kat's thread. he is using pc2700 CTL on his kr7a board and hitting 200+fsb
